Dr. Richard Hansen, founder of APS Global and holder of CISSP, CMMC-Lead Accessor-CCA/ certifications, teaches cybersecurity courses at Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland. He serves as a Dissertation Chair for doctoral students and conducts research on new technologies, particularly those involving AI, large language models, and neural network designs. Dr. Hansen has coached the university’s Cybersecurity Team and delivered lectures at prominent conferences like DEF CON, sharing his latest insights on cybersecurity detection and response. His research efforts include leading a student team to identify vulnerabilities in LIDAR systems for autonomous vehicles and developing a novel approach to detect encryption vulnerabilities, as demonstrated during the Zoom Hack of 2020.
