He serves as a Dissertation Chair for doctoral students and conducts research on new technologies, particularly those involving AI, large language models, and neural network designs. Dr. Hansen has coached the university’s Cybersecurity Team and delivered lectures at prominent conferences like DEF CON, sharing his latest insights on cybersecurity detection and response.
